3D INKTOBER 2019

Sketchfab hosted an Inktober challenge October of 2019. Instead of drawing based on a prompt each day, Sketchfab instead had the challenge to model and texture something each day based on the days' prompt. My main goal of each model was to create an illusion of a 2D image, but in actuality was a 3D model one could turn around. I originally started the challenge to get my modeling muscles stretched out again, but I ended up learning a lot by the end of it. It was a great exercise in commitment, self-motivation, and creativity.

On the 3rd day of the challenge the prompt was the word Bait. I modeled a shark, hunting a fish, which in turn was hunting a smaller fish. This model was recognized by the community and was staff picked by the head of Sketchfab. They also reached out to me to write a short article on my process of creating the model.
