SPLATTER

 • 3D Platforming Game •

Our studio Cold Chisel produced the game of Splatter over the course of five months, from August 2018 to December 2018. The game is about a character named Sploot. He is made up of paint. The world has gone gray and it is your job as Sploot to return color to the world.


Going into the project I expected to be the character modeler of at least the player character. And I was. I modeled, UVed, and textured the player character model to completion. What I did not expect from this project was to become an animator. Since no one else knew how to animate, I stepped into the role. Most of my time was allocated to learning how to animate a character properly. For this project I mainly created all the animations for the player character. When I was not doing animations I modeled, textured, and animated the minor citizen character that appears in place of the enemies after the level is completed. As well as, making models to populate the levels.
